Setting up Email on a iPhone or iPad

This guide explains how to configure a Fasthosts POP3 or IMAP mailbox on iOS devices, specifically iOS 14, for various mailbox types such as Exchange Basic, Mail Lite, Mail Extra, Starter, Standard, and Advanced. Before you start setting up your email, make sure you have these important details:

  • Username. This is your full email address. For example, if your email is jo******@*****le.com, that’s what you’ll use as your username.
  • Password. This is the specific password you chose when you created your email account.

1: Open up the Mail app.

2: Select File on the top left menu bar. Select the Add Account button in the middle of the screen.

    • Name: Your display name.

    • Password: Your mailbox password.

  • Incoming Mail Server (IMAP/POP3):

    • Username: Enter your full email address.

  • After entering information, tap Next to verify settings, then Save.
